In a triumphant return to New York after nearly 10 years, Fred Eerdekens mounts a spectacular exhibition of new work at the gallery. With the focal point a major new installation that covers half the gallery, this is a wonderful introduction to Fred's work for those unfamiliar with his methods, as well as a treat for his long-time admirers.
Entitled One looking at it, One looking through, Eerdekens used a circle as a his starting inspiration for this body of work and all the permutations and connotations it contains. Accompanying the installation are new copper and aluminum text works and some examples of his newest series of "Shadow Paintings".
